In a joyful way, of course. 2019 It's been a great year to be a Thame Belle and here are some highlights.
It's June 2019. The weather is still rubbish and the Committee are undeterred. In fact, we are super busy finishing off our "Keep Britain Tidy" banner for the Thame Carnival.
Every part of the banner was sourced from second hand shops in Thame or someone's garage clutter. The letters and our sashes were made with surplus fabric donated from a friendly high-endupholsterer. The classy looking letters were designed by our good friend, Ross.
Loving the Bees
The WI is all about helping the bees do their thing and actively managing our ecology as best we can. So we encouraged the lovely Belles to do the right thing and grow sunflowers. This summer was a cracker with record temperatures recorded nationally. And of course, our sunflowers just loved it.
