A comedic poetry performance from the wonderful Toni Kent.  It  touches on the difficulties of being a woman in a male-dominated industry, raising children while trying not to lose her sense of self and finding her feet as a performer.

CANCELLED

March 2020:
Coronavirus - AGM - postponed

The Committee has decided to postpone the AGM scheduled for 19th March. Our decision is based on the desire to do the right thing for everyone in an extraordinary period of our lives. We plan to move the AGM to 16th April

April 2020:
Coronavirus postponement

Due to the Prime Minister's March 23rd announcement we have decided to cancel our April meeting. Further information for members about streaming or virtual possibilities for the meeting will follow in our newsletters.

We're welcoming Zoe Charles from The Cheek of It School of Burlesque to talk about her career as a burlesque artist; her belief in the empowering possibilities of performance and femininity.

Like the Queen we're having our birthday celebrations in the summer, despite our April birthday! Details for our party will be sent out to members in the usual newsletter.
